Is the rhetoric on the left really as inflammatory?

I'm listening to Air America, and a caller just came on to say that he thinks that they are just as bad as their counterparts on the right with the yelling and insulting and rudeness, etc.
They sat there politely and listened to him.  When they tried to reply him, he tried to get off the phone and didn't want to discuss what he just said.
Indeed, we are just as bad.

  1. I tried listening to Air America the other night, deciding to give it another chance. I just couldn't take it. The host I was listening to, Randy Rhodes, was one I had heard a lot of positive thing about, but the content seemed just as harsh, biased, and idiotic as what I hear on other AM stations. I really think that the left would be better served by not parroting the efforts of the right and building an entirely new infrastructure for dissemination of propaganda. Moveon.org, for instance, was a great start. I also don't really believe there is an audience for AM radio much larger than that which already is listening, those who grew up on AM. It's not surprising to me at all that Rush Limbaugh's audience here in New York is larger than Franken and O'Reilly's combined. His audience is older and has been listening to AM a lot longer.
