ReplyDeleteBut this is absolutely ridiculous. I'd be furious if my web host did that to me. They're basically saying they'll only take your money if nobody visits your website.
I got kicked off of my server a few months back. I was using Moveable Type, and every time you delete or post comments, you have to hit the "rebuild" key to update the databases. Apparently this is a very CPU-intensive process, and I was deleting so much comment spam that I was doing tons of rebuilding, and my host got pissed and booted me.
ReplyDeleteI'd recommend using dreamhost.com . Completely ridiculous amounts of webhosting space and bandwidth for pretty cheap.
