The Drive-By Truckers are going to be at the Parish, for those who want something Southern-y.

But I think I'll be going to see Mr. Lewis and the Funeral Five at the Flamingo Cantina. They are a small local band who is really cool--they play rock music via polka, for one thing. They have two drummers and some badass keyboarding. Plus, they are my friends, but don't let that stop you. Since they have a female bassist named Misty who is extremely badass, especially considering how young she is, consider this the post about a female musician. 'Cause I'm all blogged out.
