The point of it, of course, is to show an ex-gay person in a photograph and show that unlike those stubbornly gay people, he is an actual human being without horns and claws and stuff

Is that real? Do people actually put billboards like that up in the US? (The city I am residing in right now in VT has no billboards, and I can't see my Canadian hometown city even allowing something like this to be put up in the first place).
