Texas roller derby gets even more publicity

I went to the first roller derby, long before they split into two leagues. It was a blast. I'm amazed that it's grown as much as it has. And now it's made Slate.
He describes it quite well. I haven't gone in months(I guess I'm suffering from the insufferable hipster distrust of popularity. Nah, I've been busy.), but it's hilarious and well worth checking out if you ever get a chance. Particularly if you have a thing for violent chicks with tattoos.
