Texas keeps on pretending we don't know where babies come from

More on our state school board's acceptance of health textbooks that are in direct violation of our state law that requires students to actually learn what contraception is. I'm sure some people are surprised to find out that abstinence-only is illegal in Texas; health textbooks are supposed to describe contraceptive methods, at least a little. But the textbooks that got approved don't mention that there is such a thing as contraception at all.
It's been said before but hell, I'll say it again: How far does your head have to be crammed up your ass to think that teenagers want to have sex because they know what condoms are?
