Doctors discover another way that women's bodies aren't good enough
This is the most fucked-up thing I've seen for a long time.
Who thinks of this? What next? A surgery to make the clitoris operable by remote control?

Update: According the Village Voice, this thing is for real. It sounds like a bunch of quackery, as I suspected. However, this kind of quackery only has an audience because of the widespread belief that female sexual response and appearance are inadequate to begin with.

I'm thinking this is a hoax.
There aren't any physicians listed under the "About Us." There's a single e-mail address under "Contact Us" without a real name. Everything under "Physician Info" is protected. The institute that supposedly developed this technique does employ a real "Dr. Matlock," but oddly he is not listed on the G-Shot page except in an e-mail address (as "drmatlock@drmatlock.com").

It's either legit, or an expensive hoax. I found the link on a half-page ad on page 32 of the latest LA Weekly (July 30-August 5, 2004). It's got a web address, two phone numbers, and what looks like a legitimate mailing address. The ad is from the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute, who seem to have ads in every issue of the Weekly, although this is the first "G-Shot" ad I've noticed.
Anyhow, if anyone wants to dig, here is the additional contact info in the print ad:

I read the Village Voice piece and it looks real. I agree with the author though.. men should just go to clit camp and learn their way around the women's nether regions.

The Institute seems to be real. I'm just wondering if this site is real--it's not that hard to lift information from a real business and pretend to be affiliated with it.
I could be wrong, it just seems to have a lot of elements of a scam.

At least it shows that people are beginning to come around to seeing female pleasure as an integral part of love-making. Now, hopefully, we can take the baby steps to getting to the point where women aren't considered broken because they don't come in a way most convienent to men.
