Women's rights to privacy are under continual attack
The struggle to make sure that women are forced to have as many babies as possible, even if by rape, continues.
How much must you loathe women to look one in the eye and say that you won't help her not get pregnant by rape? Anyone who refuses emergency contraception to a rape victim is just assisting the rapist finish his works in my mind. Sorry if that's severe. But I can't imagine the sickness that is gripping the mind of someone who can't figure out how wrong that really is.

Well, on the other hand, playing devil's advocate and trying to see this from the viewpoint of someone who really does think they're "saving babies," wouldn't it be hypocritical to "save" some "babies" but not others just based on their vessel's-- I mean, mother's circumstances of how she got pregnant? Plus, they also have the argument that "beautiful things can result even from ugly beginnings" - as rape is a crime of violence, the miracle of innocent newborn life can be seen as a thumbing of the nose at the perpetrator of such violence, yadda yadda.

In order to have that position, they have to willfully ignore that many, if not most, fertilized eggs don't implant *anyway*. If they really, truly think that babies are dying when a fertilized egg doesn't implant, then how do they suffer through the incredible fear that every period *might* have been an angelic baby?
EC prevents pregnancy, it doesn't stop it. That even doctors and nurses and pharmacists refuse to see that because they need to justify their unwillingness to help young women in trouble astonishes me.
