But....but....God likes war!
As expected, the Pope chewed on the Shrub for being a war-mongerer. Luckily, Dubya knows that the Papists are a bunch of illiterate Mary-worshippers that are so not getting snatching into heaven when the Rapture comes, so I'm sure he felt free to disregard everything the man had to say, because what does the silly Pope know?
Anyway, Bush is in Europe to honor the war dead of WWII (and probably to pretend that he's carrying on the same battle). He wisely held back from honoring the SS soliders who gave their lives defending fascism, unlike the Gipper, and laid wreaths on the graves of actual victims:
Also Friday, Bush and his wife were laying a wreath at Fosse Adeatine, the site of a World War II atrocity in which Nazis occupying Italy killed 335 men and boys, 75 of them Jews.
He will be going to Normandy for the 60th anniversary of D-Day. Hopefully, he can refrain from comparing himself favorably to the people who fought on that day.

The Pope had Bush exorcised today but unfortunately the exorcist was thrown down a flight of stairs by the demon that possessed our Preznit. The demon swiftly flew back into Bush and the smirk returned to his face. Yahoo should cover that story later in the day. :)
