Albany, New York thinks that female warriors are best honored by a statue of a woman in a flowing gown.
I can see how it would be hard for the artists to figure out what a female warrior might look like. It's not like they have images of modern day female soliders to look at. And of course, there's no historical precedent for portraying a fightin' female in art history.
